Self-catering at the stUDIO

People who have been to The Studio tell us they find it inspirational. It's warm, comfortable and private, yet full of light and with splendid views you can walk right into.

It's the only guest accommodation on the farm, and it's not overlooked by anyone, so it feels very secluded. It's a traditional long, low farm building given a new life as a place to come and feel part of the countryside.

The building faces South West, so it makes the most of the sunshine, with door sized windows all along the front , rather like an indoor conservatory. Outside - trees, rocks, open moorland.

The Studio sleeps 2-4. There's one twin-bedded room, and a double sofa-bed*. It's ideal for couples, close friends and families.

It's a great retreat for writers and artists - for anyone who wants somewhere to think, dream and work.

Take your shoes off and go barefoot - even in Winter. There's cosy underfloor heating throughout. There's a shower room with plenty of hot water for when you've been out in the elements.

The open living space has long oak beams, a hand-made kitchen, an original mural, and many other contemporary craft details.

There's a sitting out area and a garden enclosed by a dry stone wall, with moorland views beyond. There's a TV, CD player, cooker, fridge/freezer, and microwave - and plenty of parking space.

The Studio is non-smoking. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Duvets are provided, but please bring your own sheets, pillows and towels.

*The two very comfortable (so our guests tell us!) 2'9" beds can be pushed together to make a kingsize double. The sofa bed is easy and quick to use, and turns into a full size 4'6" double.
