how to find us

Adders Green Farm is in the Peak District National Park, about half way between Leek and Buxton.

By Public Transport

There are trains to Stoke on Trent and Buxton. A coach service runs between the two. Ask to be dropped off at Morridge Top. It's a quarter mile walk downhill from there. Alternatively, we can arrange to pick you up from the Winking Man (see below).

By Car from Leek

Take the A53 towards Buxton. You'll pass through Blackshaw Moor. There's a big climb up Cat Tor hill with the Ramshaw Rocks ahead of you. As soon as you go past the Winking Man (set back from the road on the right) look for a small road on the left. Take this road downhill past Gib Tor farm in the hollow. As the road rises again, look out for a right hand turn. Follow this road down and then up. Adders Green is the next entrance on the left hand side.

By Car from Buxton

Take the A53 towards Leek. You'll come to a sharp right hand bend with The Travellers' Rest opposite. Continue past the turnoff for Flash on your right. Take the next right hand turn. It's set between two houses, with one on the left. This is known locally as Morridge Top. You're getting close when you see the sign 'Ken Buxton - Closed Sundays'. Follow the road down through a farmyard. Adders Green is the next entrance on the right hand side.
